Summer and the Living is Easy

I tend to lounge around a whole lot more in the summer time.  Unfortunately, I've never been one to sleep in; however, that doesn't necessarily mean that I am bright eyed and bushy-tailed.  I'm assuming that I am not the only one who hasn't made it into the shower/bathtub until well past noon on occasion.  Maybe this is TMI, but I've enjoyed a more relaxed pace for the most part.  The flip side is that my bored kids quite often lead to arguing.  Again, I'm sure that I'm not the only one experiencing this.

What do you like most about summer?  What don't you care for?

Holiday Break

As a new business, we have had A LOT of work to do to get up and running.  Because of the normal holiday time pressure (You know what I'm talking about.  Parties, presents to buys, presents to make, presents to wrap, food to prepare etc...) our progress came to a screeching halt for a little while.  I hope that you have all had a chance to take a deep breath and to return to some semblance of daily life.  I LOVE the Thanksgiving and Christmas season, but I must admit that it helps me to appreciate even more how quite and simple a "regular day" can be.

Fall is Here

I LOVE fall!  I love the crispness in the air.  I love the fun and cute Halloween stuff everywhere.  I love caramel apples and hot cider and I love love love crunching fallen leaves.  This time of year my creativity goes into overdrive.  I want to bake, decorate, and and meditate.  I hope that you all have a lot of fun this season.
